I think the timing was what really killed this film. I'd say about 50% of it was not even needed- the 2 minutes spent looking out the window, the almost slothlike reactions, and so on. Maybe sticks mean instant sucess on Newgrounds( and not to mention Star wars parodys) but this film could use some editing. Do that and you're good to go. sorry, just being honest.

I wasnt exactly sure what was so stunningly stupendous about this one. I see a lot of work went into this, and the sound was sorta good, but as far as entertainment value, nada. I got halfway through it.
Makes me wonder if you can tell how good a movie is just by reading the "top 50" list, as there are some execellent films there, but this wouldnt be my choice. Anyhow, keep up the good work.

"nice but needs animation and timing"

I liked the overall look of the film and the sound was decent considering you did it yourself. The colors and the bitmap backgrounds were good too. The only things i didnt like was the lack of movement and also extremely long pans and fades. Its sometimes better to cut from scene to scene. Because flash pans look really syrupy, this is also another reason. The characters were well drawn and the style was right on. I think trying to animate them made them look like shifting puppets instead of characters. This style demands a lot of work to fully animate it. Anime is naturally limited, but this film was way too limited in movement. Probably would have worked better as a graphic novel. Anyhow, overall it wasnt bad. Id say work on timing, a tighter story, and better cuts. anyhow, good job and hopefully we will see more from you in the future

"Looked good- no story"

I liked the way the film looked, and the sound was allright too. However, First of all, the preloader didnt work at all, and also it stalled all the way through. It wasnt really funny neither. I however have some suspicions... I saw your all's stuff at the WAC confrence this year... and you did have some really good films there. So, that almost makes me think that this film was some crapped out quikee film you all did in an hour to throw up here for some possible public notice, or as some sort of inside joke, which I am not innocent of either. For god's sake, if you're gonna put something up here, at least put the "pusseycow " film up here- that'd get you some more postive reactions.-just a word of advice form another starving animator.

Well, you could have made this movie in it. It was just a slide show, and after having to wait for 5 minutes to load, I was a little more than disapointed to see a bunch of pictures, especially the one with the paper bag with a poorly drawn face on it. All I gotta say is that today's top five were pretty lucky cause they wern't terribly impressive.
